My sister, Jamie, and brother in law, Josh, came in for a visit for 4th of July weekend. We had a great time just hanging out and playing with Jacob. Josh and Jeff put some trains up in Jacob's room and they look cool!
Here's a picture of the big guy sitting in his bumbo seat. He's really looking handsome these days! :)

Jacob is doing really well at home. He can hold his head really well lately. He is beginning to tolerate tummy time much more, but still won't lift his head and neck. He is reaching and grabbing at everything in front of him, and putting all kinds of things in his mouth. He recognizes our voices and smiles when we say something. It's so awesome! Jacob doesn't have alot of physical strength yet, although he is getting more and more each day. He can't quite roll over, but he will lift his legs and curl his hips when he stretches in the morning. Cute! He has started rice cereal, and doesn't like it too much, but will tolerate it some! :) The last doctors visit has us weighing 14 lbs. 6 ounces, but I'm almost positive that he's gained at least a pound and a half since then. He's getting heavy!!
Thanks for the continued prayers for Jacob. He's such a miracle. Please continue to pray for his development, that he will continue to grow and improve each day!
Thanks for checking in with us! May you be blessed!
The sun room looks great and so does Jacob!! So glad to hear he is getting stronger everyday. It is one of the best times as a parent when they start to interact w/ you and you know they know who you are:)
ReplyDeleteI just love this!!! He is the most handsome little boy I've every known. God is so good, and you are doing a great job with him....Please keep us informed. We have not seen a picture with grandmom Laurie yet...can we please have one? Thank you

I am glad he is doing well. I am still praying for sweet Jacob. It looks like you all have been having a blast with him. I like the new look of your blog.
ReplyDeleteHey Jeff and Julie. The sun room looks great and so does Jacob. Glad things are going well with you all. We continue to praise God for Jacob's progress
ReplyDeleteYour sun room looks fabulous! You are quite some talented ladies. I have a sewing machine but can't quite find the button that creates curtains for me just yet! :)
ReplyDeleteIt was such a joy to meet you all in person today at church! Jacob is even more adorable in person if that is possible! What a blessing it is to witness your story! We continue to pray for Jacob and for the two of you, that God blesses you with strength to pursue all He has in store for you!
