Since Halloween...

Life has been pretty normal since I posted last.  I LOVE that we have just normal, ordinary days!  We've been playing with friends, going to school and church, playing outside when its not too cold, and just enjoying each day!  God's blessings are all around!  Here's some pictures I captured from the past week or so...

Jacob spent time going through his candy from Halloween and eating some of it. Many days he liked to just take it out and organize it. Ha!

He even decided his stuffed animals needed his candy too.  He thought it was pretty funny!  Sharing is fun!  :)  One day last week he must have found some starburst in his bed because he came out of his room during nap time and said he had to put something back...  Funny that he didn't just eat it.  Ha!

Saturday was a no nap day apparently...and he decided that his drawers needed reorganizing.  How nice of him to help us out in that way (insert sarcastic voice).

Jacob asks to play baseball everyday...so he's been busy learning how to catch, hit, and throw!

This is what Elizabeth is doing alot of lately...just smiling away!

This is what we do when the boys are out playing baseball...

Dressed up for church!  So sweet!  That is Jacob's silly face!

Elizabeth has been practicing sitting in her bumbo.  Jacob wanted to be in the picture and Jackson is always close by!
Have a blessed day!  Thanks for checking in with us!

Happy Halloween!

All things Halloween...carving pumpkins, getting dressed up, and going trick or treating.  That's what it's all about!

Daddy and Jacob getting the seeds out of the pumpkin.  This was not something Jacob liked to do, so Mommy and Daddy finished!  Ha!

The finished products...a mickey mouse pumpkin, a BOO pumpkin, and one proud boy!

Jacob pointing out the letters B-O-O.

All the pumpkins together!

Jacob got to dress up at Preschool on Tuesday and trick or treat around the building.  He was one happy puppy!

This is a picture from Halloween night!  Jacob, Elizabeth, and Daddy on the front step.  Jacob went trick or treating with Daddy while Elizabeth stayed home with Mommy.  Jacob went to many doors around our neighborhood saying, "Trick or Treat" and then barking.  He even barked when the neighbors asked him questions.  He was just practicing his acting skills by staying in character.  :)

Trunk or Treat 2012

Sunday night was Trunk or Treat at church.  Jacob was SO excited to dress up as a dog and get treats!  He was the cutest dog I've ever seen!  He was a little unsure about his nose when he looked in the mirror, which was pretty funny, but he quickly forgot about it and was ready to go trunk or treating!  Elizabeth enjoyed her first trunk or treat by staying cozy in her stroller!

"Ruff Ruff!"

Happy Halloween!  We're ready to go Trunk or Treating!

The prettiest sunflower ever!

Shout out to Mr. Greg...You're the only one that Jacob mentioned this morning when talking about Trunk or Treat!

The Sunflower is nice and cozy!  Notice the caterpillar?!?!

Jacob doing the Elephant Walk to get his candy!

Once we got home, Jacob went through all of his candy!  Yummy!

Have a blessed day!

Gentry's Farm

Last Saturday we went to Gentry's Farm to pick out pumpkins!  Uncle Jon and Aunt Jenny came into town and we met some of their friends there.  We were not expecting it to be as cold as it was...but nevertheless, we had a great time!

Elizabeth is all bundled up in the Baby Bjorn.  SO GLAD we had the blanket around her...it was so cold!

Scenery right before our hayride!

Family!

Jacob played in the kitchen area and pretended to get food ready and then set the table and sat down.  So cute!

I caught him mid-run.  Ha!

Going through the tunnel...he didn't want to go at first, but was smiling all the way through.  Then he said, "I don't do that again."  So funny!  I am all about trying things at least once...

Aww...so sweet!

LOVED the tire swing!  Some of the sweetest smiles ever!!!

Playing in the little log house.

Family!  Getting Jacob to smile was difficult...oh well!

Uncle Buh and Aunt Jenny with the kiddos!
What a fun day!

2 Months Old

At 2 months old Elizabeth is growing, growing, growing!  She can give out smile after smile and we LOVE seeing them!  She is getting more head and body control too!  This morning she was sitting in the bouncy seat and purposefully reached up and hit the rattle hanging from above.  When on her tummy she can lift her arms and legs at the same time (like she's flying)!  She's sleeping about 8 hour stretches at night (insert a BIG AWESOME from Mommy!) and still eating about every 3-4 hours during the day.  Jacob loves her and wants to help out by patting her on the back when burping her, giving her a pacifier, and turning on her music when she's crying.  We go on Thursday for her 2 month appointment so I don't have measurements yet, but I'd say she's about 11 lbs and almost 24 inches. She's just great!  We are so proud of our "Little Bit!"
