Our son, Jacob, was diagnosed with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) at a 20 week ultrasound. We were told that he would likely not make it past the delivery room. He had a 10% chance of survival. He was loved and prayed for by countless people before he was brought into this world.

Jacob was born on January 26, 2009.
On May 7, 2009, after 101 days in the NICU at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, we brought Jacob home.

God smiled on us and gave us a miracle.

Socks...Jacob's new love

Jacob is beginning to really show us his personality lately. He's quite the smart little fella! And apparently, pretty flexible too! Here's the pictures of how I found him after his nap. So funny! By the way, don't you just love the roll of fat around his wrist...how cute is that!

Thought this video was so funny that we had to post it. Yes, that's a sock in his hand, and yes he did pull it off, despite what he says in the video.

Thanks for checking in with us. Hope you have a blessed day!

Gramma is just sure the sock monster must have taken that sock off Jacob's foot. Love the "Mr I Didn't Do It Face"!
