Jacob's big day is approaching...

We continue to be faithful in prayer as our son Jacob gets ready to present himself to this world. Please keep praying that God will give us the "glorious impossible," as we have been asking since week 20. Unless he comes early, he should be here on Monday, January 26th.
Here's a picture of our little one just 2 weeks ago. It's a 3D image of the profile of his face with his arm coming up to his forehead. He looks a little chunky, but cute!

  3. Hi,
I am a friend of Chad and Laura Beth High. We are in the same Sunday School class at Brentwood Hills and Chad has been requesting prayers for you and your husband for months now. I just wanted to let you know that we prayed for Jacob on Tuesday night as a group and I am praying that you will find a peace that passes all understanding as you are entering into the final days before the birth of Jacob. I am praying for your delivery and for Jacob and for the doctors that will be performing his surgery. Please know that you have many people praying on your behalf.

  5. Jeff, Julie, and little Jacob,

Thank you for starting this blog and opening your lives to us in such a personal way. You have crossed our minds and prayers in the last months since we found out from Mary Joy about Jacob's diagnosis. We will continue to lift you up these weeks ahead as you celebrate God's answers to many prayers...and especially as you cherish these last few days of having Jacob in utero and await to meet the precious face of the little guy who has grown great faith in many people.

Asking God for your Miracle to happen!

    With love,
    Benjy and Carolyn Brednich

  12. Hi! I, like many who have already posted comments, also go to church with Chad & Laura Beth at BHCC. You have been on our prayer list & we've been praying for you for quite a while now. I can't imagine what it must feel like to be experiencing what you are, but please know that you are in my prayers every day as your delivery date approaches. My husband, Craig, went to Lipscom with Jeff. You look familiar- do you teach ELL? I job-share at Shayne Elem. now, but I use to teach ELL with Chad at Hattie Cotton about 5 yrs. ago. I think I might have seen you at some ELL training. ANyway, please know that Craig & I are praying & will be checking your blog for updates.

  24. We are praying for you both and Jacob. The Lord has already done great things through Jacob's life. We pray that He does much more and that Jacob is healed and is able to go home with you. We will be praying throughout the delivery and that God gives the doctors knowledge and skill. The recent picture of Jacob is amazing. He is so cute.

  33. Julie,
You are well loved around here at school! I have been asked dozens of times today about your progress. You have many people in your corner and hopefully you have been able to feel the presence of our prayers. Your class misses you and they have flowers and a gift for you. I will bring them by when you get a place to keep it.
